Hi,
Have you ever heard about the brilliant accountant who does a whizz job for his clients but whose own finanical affairs are in a mess?
How about the talented chef who creates amazing mouth-watering dishes at her restaurant but who eats TV dinners when at home?
Well, I think this can also be true of us hypnotists/therapists. Looking after everyone but ourselves.
I am owning this too. I think I have been guilty of putting on hold my own needs to practice regularly a relaxation process such as self hypnosis. And this is despite the fact that I say to some clients, the more you practice self hypnosis the easier it becomes and the more the positive effects stay with you.
Of course this only came to me when I recently had a fab holiday in Granada. My holidays always seem to provide a time for standing back and taking stock of my past year and where I wanna go for the coming year. Something about giving me the opportunity of "seeing the wood from the trees" as we say over here.
I suppose my big lesson is "practice what you preach".
Best wishes
Steve

Hello Steve,
RochI could not agree with you more. If you read my blog you'd see that I have been guilty of this myself.
Well since writing that I have made a commitment to myself. Part of which is to be be very active here. I realize that I need the energy that comes from fellowship. I got at a big dose of that at the convention and know that I can get some more of that good stuff right here!
